Ed Sheeran to Perform in Budapest with Hungarian Singer Zséda as Opening Act

Zséda

Grammy-winning British pop star Ed Sheeran is set to perform at the Budapest Puskás Aréna on Saturday, July 20, 2024, as part of his MATHEMATICS TOUR 2024. The highly anticipated concert will feature two opening acts: Calum Scott and Hungarian singer Zséda.

Zséda, a multiple Fonogram and EMeRTon award-winning artist, expressed her excitement and disbelief upon being chosen by Ed Sheeran’s management to open the show. “It took me a while to believe that they had chosen us, that my songs had reached him. I am incredibly happy to be performing at the Puskás Aréna on July 20. There are performers who I feel really close to musically and spiritually, and Ed is one of them. The fact that this is mutual, that he invited me and my band to his concert, I think it’s really important feedback for me,” she shared.

The Hungarian singer also revealed that keeping the news a secret was extremely difficult. “For a long time, even my band had the date marked as a blank in the calendar, but now we have to believe it. We will be there on July 20 at the Puskás, and we are preparing for an incredible party!” Zséda added.

Ed Sheeran last performed in Hungary in 2019, delivering an unforgettable experience for his fans at the Sziget Festival. Fans of Ed Sheeran and music enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting this spectacular event, which promises to be a night filled with incredible performances by both international and local talents.
