Where should you eat during a trip to Budapest? From 1 to 18 October 2026, DiningCity Restaurant Week offers an answer for almost every appetite. More than 160 restaurants in Budapest are taking part, serving specially prepared fixed-price menus that make it easier to explore the city’s food scene.

A First for Costes
The 30th edition of Restaurant Week includes a Michelin-starred participant for the first time. Costes on Ráday Street is offering an event menu for 17,900 HUF, including the service charge. It’s one option for visitors hoping to make a Budapest dinner feel like a special occasion.
Tables allocated to Restaurant Week are limited, and event bookings can only be made online—not by calling the restaurant. Once you’ve found a menu that appeals to you, reserve your place rather than leaving dinner to chance.
