A Taste of Bavaria in Budapest
Beer lovers can explore a selection featuring Erdinger, Augustiner, Paulaner and Spaten, alongside international options such as Tsingtao and Austrian organic beer Golser. Craft beers are also part of the announced offering, and a range of 0% alcohol-free beers caters to visitors who prefer not to drink.
Best deals of Budapest
Pair your choice with Bavarian pretzels, Nuremberg sausages served with Bavarian-style cabbage or Leberkäse. There’s plenty beyond the Bavarian menu too, including burgers, lángos, chimney cake, doughnuts and roasted chestnuts.
The planned gluten-free food area adds another option, though visitors with dietary requirements should confirm ingredients and preparation arrangements directly with vendors.
Saturday Morning Fun for Families
Families have a reason to arrive early on Saturday, October 24: Kalap Jakab’s children’s concert takes place from 11am to noon. The gates open at 10am, leaving time to settle in before the show.
The wider festival also promises daytime children’s activities and fairground attractions, including a Ferris wheel and bumper cars. It’s an opportunity to enjoy the setting before the programme shifts towards evening bands and late-night DJs.
Planning Your Visit
Look for the large car park by Kopaszi Dam in BudaPart. The Hungarian name, Kopaszi-gát, is useful when searching for the venue on a map.
Entry is free, while food, drinks and other purchases are separate. Payments across the festival site are by bank card. A heated tent is planned for colder weather, but bring a warm layer if you’ll be staying into the evening or enjoying the outdoor rides.
Főtaxi is the official taxi partner, with an on-site taxi rank announced for visitors heading home. Programme changes are possible, so check the organiser’s latest announcements before setting off for a specific act.
