Experience the Future of Women in AI at Budapest's STEM Forum

Budapest is gearing up to host the annual Women and Girls in STEM Forum on 10 October 2024, an inspirational event celebrating the success of the Girls Go Circular initiative across Europe. This year’s forum, held at a venue in the heart of the Hungarian capital, will spotlight the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) in bridging the gender gap in STEM fields.

Featuring a diverse lineup of experts, engaging panels, and success stories, the one-day forum promises an immersive look at how AI can foster inclusive opportunities for women – from targeted education to supportive professional networks and policy changes emphasizing mentorship, representation, and empowerment.

A key highlight is the Student Challenge finale, where the top three teams from the Girls Go Circular program will pitch their visionary ideas for using AI to reduce gender inequalities. An expert jury will select the winner live on stage in front of the audience.

“AI has the potential to be a great equalizer, but only if we’re intentional about developing it in an inclusive way,” said Caitlin Kraft Buchman, CEO of Women at the Table, one of the panelists. “This forum offers a vital platform to have those critical conversations.”

The forum will also explore groundbreaking AI applications addressing challenges faced by women across sectors like healthcare, education, and social inclusion. Attendees can vote for their favorite student pitch for the Audience Choice Award.

With Budapest’s vibrant culture as the backdrop, the Women and Girls in STEM Forum 2024 is an unmissable opportunity to experience the cutting-edge ideas driving a more equitable future. Immerse yourself in the possibilities at the intersection of gender empowerment and artificial intelligence.
