The Children’s Railway Advent Program

The Children’s Railway, a cherished institution in Budapest, hosts one of the most popular winter holiday programs in the city. The trains are adorned with festive decorations, creating a whimsical atmosphere as they journey along their routes from morning until late afternoon.

During this special event, children have the opportunity to meet Santa Claus in person, who delights them with gift packages. The trains operate on the Hűvösvölgy – Szépjuhászné – Hűvösvölgy route, departing every hour between 8:20 and 17:20. In addition to the enchanting train rides, children and their companions can enjoy various programs, crafts, face painting, snacks, and hot beverages.
