BÓNUSZ Electronic Music Festival

Two nights of techno, large-scale arena productions and immersive visuals are coming to Budapest this November. If you’re visiting Budapest and want to make electronic music part of your trip, this festival gives you plenty to get excited about. The programme moves between driving techno, harder sounds and melodic sets, with dedicated arenas offering different atmospheres throughout the weekend.

Friday: Techno and Verknipt

Friday’s Red Arena brings together an international lineup led by 999999999, who will present their Hybrid Live production in Hungary for the first time. Dubfire, Len Faki, Nico Moreno, Sam Paganini and Space 92 also take the stage, with Mateo & Spirit and SanFranciscoBeat representing the Hungarian scene.

For those drawn to the harder end of the programme, Dutch event brand Verknipt returns with its own arena following its appearance in 2025. Its characteristically intense musical and visual approach sets the tone for performances by 6EJOU Live, Akác, Ben Techy, Kruelty, Negitiv, Samuel Moriero, Santøs and Svetec.

With both arenas running on the same night, Friday offers plenty of scope to move between different sounds rather than settle into a single musical direction.

Saturday: Mathame and Hyperspace 30

On Saturday, the Red Arena shifts towards melodic techno and more progressive electronic sounds. One of the weekend’s standout productions is Mathame’s exclusive audiovisual show, being presented in Hungary for the first time. Unfolding across the festival’s 50-metre-wide LED wall, it promises a performance in which the visuals are as central as the music.

Agents of Time, Fideles, Kevin de Vries, Kream, Layla Benitez and Son of Son join the Saturday lineup, alongside Denes Toth and Budai House Clique.

Elsewhere, the Hyperspace 30 Arena celebrates three decades of the electronic music event series. Its anniversary programme brings together Ben Sims, DJ Rush, Fatima Hajji, Klaudia Gawlas, Lewis Fautzi and Marco Bailey, with Dave Wincent, Raul Young and Sonic Rain completing the bill. For visitors keen to explore another side of Budapest’s electronic music culture, this anniversary arena adds a local connection to the international festival programme.

Burn Terrace and festival visuals

Beyond the indoor arenas, the outdoor Burn Terrace welcomes festivalgoers on both evenings. Friday’s lineup features Albin Brezlan, Daniel Moritz, Jaffa Surfa, Joone, Secret Factory, SouveQ and Tolo & Falcao. On Saturday, Aquarius Ezra, Enyta B2B Zana, Justrice, Konik, Olessia and SumOfDem take over the decks.

Inside, Germany’s LIVEFRAME DESIGN returns with a new visual and lighting concept created exclusively for BÓNUSZ 2026. The arena productions combine lighting, screen visuals and stage design, with special live and audiovisual performances adding to the experience.

Whether you’re coming for Mathame’s audiovisual production, Verknipt’s intensity or the Hyperspace anniversary, BÓNUSZ offers plenty of reasons to build a Budapest weekend around electronic music.
