Budapest to Host the 45th Chess Olympiad in 2024
Budapest, the beautiful capital of Hungary, is gearing up to host a major international chess event in 2024. From September 10-23, 2024, the Hungarian Chess Federation and the World Chess Federation (FIDE) will organize the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest.
This prestigious tournament is a particularly special occasion, as it will also celebrate the 100th anniversary of FIDE’s founding. Top chess players and teams from around the world will converge on Budapest to compete for the coveted Chess Olympiad medals and titles.
For chess enthusiasts visiting during this time, there is an added cultural attraction not to be missed.
