Sziget Festival 2027 Is Officially Coming: Save the Date

Sziget Festival will return to Budapest’s Óbuda Island from August 10 to 14, 2027, organizers have confirmed, kicking off pre-registration for fans who want first access to the cheapest tickets. Known as the Island of Freedom, Sziget is one of Europe’s biggest music festivals, and this year’s dismantling of the site hasn’t stopped the team from already planning next summer’s edition.
Pre-registration is open now through August 23, 2026, requiring just a name and email address, no cost or purchase commitment involved. Registering unlocks access to the exclusive Super Early Bird ticket sale, which runs from noon CET on August 24 to 10 p.m. CET on August 27, a 82-hour window open only to those who signed up in advance.
Prices during this phase sit 10 to 15 percent below standard rates: the five-day general pass costs 299 euros (318 euros with the handling fee), while under-21 fans pay 239 euros (255 euros with fees). No lineup has been announced yet, but registered fans can use the festival’s “Wish Machine” tool to vote for artists they’d like to see take the stage in 2027.
Anyone considering a Budapest festival trip next summer should register early. It costs nothing, guarantees a shot at the lowest prices, and gives fans a voice in shaping the lineup before a single name is officially revealed.
