Zendaya "Is Back" in Budapest

Hollywood icon and rising star Zendaya is set to become the newest addition to the Madame Tussauds Budapest collection. The 27-year-old actress and singer will be immortalized in wax, taking her place among other celebrity figures such as Brad Pitt, Madonna, and Leonardo DiCaprio in the museum’s VIP room, designed to evoke the ambiance of Budapest’s famous Gellért Baths.

Zendaya, known for her breakthrough role in the Disney series “Shake It Up,” has quickly become one of the most influential figures in the entertainment industry. She made history as the youngest person ever to win an Emmy Award for her performance in the HBO series “Euphoria” and was named one of TIME’s 100 most influential people. Her recent appearances in the “Dune” series and the upcoming film “Challengers” have further solidified her status as a global superstar.

The actress is no stranger to Budapest, having spent months in the Hungarian capital while filming the “Dune” series. During her time in the city, Zendaya and her boyfriend, actor Tom Holland, were spotted exploring the riverfront on an electric scooter and dining at a local pizzeria. Now, fans will have the opportunity to see Zendaya in a new light as her wax figure arrives from Amsterdam, dressed in a replica of the stunning gown she wore to the 71st Emmy Awards in 2019.

Madame Tussauds Budapest continues to surprise visitors with its enchanting displays, including a brand new installation featuring Ariana Grande’s figure in the Cinema Café.

During her time in Budapest, Zendaya’s landlady, Laura Czeglédi, known from the show “The Queens of the City,” shared insights into the actress’s behavior while staying in the city. Czeglédi praised Zendaya for her humility, kindness, and down-to-earth nature, despite being surrounded by a substantial security detail. She also noted the actress’s strong connection with her co-star and boyfriend, Tom Holland, describing them as “adorable together” and “moving as one.”

As Zendaya’s wax figure takes its place among the stars at Madame Tussauds Budapest, fans and visitors alike will have the chance to experience the presence of this talented and beloved actress in a unique and memorable way.
