Unleash Your Inner Geek at MondoCon in Budapest

If you’re a fan of anime, cosplay, K-pop or Japanese pop culture in general, you won’t want to miss MondoCon – Hungary’s biggest celebration of all things geeky. This two-day festival is taking place October 12-13, 2024 at the Hungexpo in Budapest.

MondoCon offers a packed schedule of events and activities for fans. Highlights include:

• The first ever Hungarian anime TikToker panel and meet & greet with guests like Zóra Klucsarits, Linda Duca and Gábor Bessenyei.
• An international cosplay competition qualifying round for the International Cosplay Champions Cup, with judges from Germany, Austria and Croatia.
• A horror quiz championship where you can win a Ryuk figure from Death Note.
• Anime fandub and idol dance contests on the main stage.
• Themed cosplay photoshoots for Disney villains and Monster High.
• Pumpkin carving, monster hunts and other Halloween activities.
• A Demon Slayer anime quiz, Japanese culture presentations, anime screenings and more.

There will also be K-pop performances, wrestling shows, Deadpool dance lessons and tons of other geeky fun. Early bird discounted tickets are available until September 13th.
