Hey there! If you’re looking for a fun and interesting way to spend an afternoon in Budapest, I’ve got a great suggestion for you. Head on over to the Városliget park and check out the incredible open-air photography exhibition called “Magyarország 365”.

This exhibition is a real treat for anyone who loves stunning visuals and wants to explore the beauty of Hungary. It features a whopping 140 photographs, all carefully selected from over 44,000 submissions to the annual “Magyarország 365” photography competition. The competition, now in its sixth year, aims to showcase the diverse landscapes, architecture, culture, and people of Hungary through the lenses of both professional and amateur photographers.

As you stroll along the Promenad in Városliget, you’ll be able to admire these breathtaking images, which are divided into six categories: nature, landscape, architecture, culture, sports, and scenes of everyday life. It’s a fantastic way to appreciate the rich heritage and captivating diversity of Hungary.

The best part? The exhibition is completely free and open to the public from September 19th to November 3rd. So, you can take your time and really soak in the beauty of each photograph without worrying about any entrance fees.

But wait, there’s more! The organizers have also planned some special guided tours and talks to accompany the exhibition. These events will give you an even deeper insight into the stories behind the photographs and reveal some of Hungary’s hidden treasures. The tours will be held twice a week, on Saturdays at 1:30 pm and Sundays at 4:00 pm, starting from October 5th.
