Coldplay Brings Massive Music of the Spheres Tour to Budapest
After a 16-year absence, the wildly popular British rock band Coldplay is finally returning to perform in Budapest. Due to overwhelming demand, they will play three massive back-to-back shows at the Puskás Aréna on June 16th, 18th, and 19th, 2024.
Formed in 1996, Coldplay’s career took off with their 2000 album Parachutes, which sold over 13 million copies worldwide. The Music of the Spheres World Tour is the band’s eighth concert tour, launched in 2021 to promote their ninth studio album of the same name.
The critically-acclaimed tour has already been named Tour of the Year in 2022. It kicked off in March 2022 in Costa Rica and will wrap up on August 30th in Dublin after making stops in Athens on June 8th and Bucharest on June 12th before the highly-anticipated Budapest shows.
This will be Coldplay’s first performances in Budapest since 2008 and their first ever shows in cities like Athens, Bucharest, and Helsinki as part of this record-breaking tour run. Don’t miss your chance to see the iconic band live at one of the biggest concerts Hungary has ever hosted! Tickets are available now.
