The festival grounds now feature nearly 90,000 square meters of ground cover, a significant jump from last year, along with roughly 14,000 square meters of shaded areas and about 2,500 square meters of air-conditioned indoor space scattered across the site. Extra misting gates and drinking fountains have also been installed to keep the record crowds hydrated as temperatures climb during the day.

Behind the scenes, the festival is running on a robust safety net, including backup power generators, an 800,000-liter onsite water reserve, and a dedicated medical center staffed by Hungary’s National Ambulance Service, all coordinated through an Operational Command Center working alongside police and disaster management authorities.

A Genuinely International Crowd

Part of what makes the atmosphere on Óbuda Island so electric is just how international the audience already is. Early ticket sales show the largest group of foreign visitors arriving from the Netherlands, with thousands more coming from Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, and Italy.
