Free Summer Concerts in Budapest’s Charming Bacsó Béla Street
This summer Budapest will be filled with open-air concerts all over the city where visitors and locals will be able to enjoy the festivities and relax after a warm summer day.
Budapest’s enchanting Bacsó Béla Street, located in the heart of the city near Rákóczi Square, is set to come alive with a series of free concerts from mid-July until the end of summer. The recently renovated street will celebrate its renewal by hosting these delightful summer evening concerts every other Wednesday, showcasing emerging artists from the Hungarian alternative music scene.
The concert series, supported by the Municipality of Józsefváros and organized by Rendezvény8, kicks off on July 17th with a performance by Hűvös akusztik and Vidiczki Zsombor, coinciding with the official opening ceremony of the revamped Bacsó Béla Street. Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere and an opportunity to unwind and enjoy the music in this charming corner of the city.
The lineup for the free summer concerts is as follows:
- July 17: Hűvös akusztik, Vidiczki Zsombor solo concert + street opening party
- July 31: Géem
- August 14: Agócs Márton
- August 28: Papp Mukunda
- September 11: Meszka (featuring members of the well-known band Punnany Massif)
All concerts will take place from 6 pm to 7 pm, providing the perfect early evening entertainment for locals and visitors alike. The event is open to the public and may be recorded for video and audio purposes.
