Instead, the production unveils the mythic patterns behind women like Athena, Sappho, Medea, Blimunda, Bernarda, and even Carmen, all characters who defy convention and embrace their complexities. These women, portrayed by María Pagés and her talented company of dancers, are tough yet gentle, strict yet humble, and always, unapologetically, fearless.
