“Now You See Me” Star Spotted in The Most Magical Shop in Budapest

Guess who’s been spotted roaming the streets of Budapest? None other than Jesse Eisenberg, the actor known for his Oscar-nominated role as Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network”! Eisenberg is currently in the Hungarian capital to film the third installment of the hugely successful “Now You See Me” series, where he plays a master illusionist.

But it seems like Eisenberg isn’t content with just playing a magician on screen. The actor recently made an appearance at a magic shop in Budapest, where he apparently took a keen interest in learning some real-life magic tricks. According to the shop owner, István Szabó, Eisenberg was curious about a wide range of magic techniques and even purchased a few tricks to take home with him.

“Despite the fact that the magic tricks in the ‘Now You See Me’ films are mostly done with movie magic or stunt doubles, Jesse Eisenberg seems to have developed a genuine interest in the art of illusion, perhaps due to his character in the films,” Szabó told local media.

Eisenberg even got a crash course in card coloring from one of the shop’s employees, a trick that features in the movies but wasn’t actually performed by the actor himself. Who knows, maybe we’ll see Eisenberg showing off his newly acquired skills in the upcoming film!

It’s nice to see a Hollywood star taking such an active interest in the local scene while filming abroad. And hey, if the whole acting thing doesn’t work out, it looks like Eisenberg might have a promising career as a magician ahead of him!
