Zayed Charity Run Budapest – Run for Kindness in the Heart of Europe

Budapest is hosting a truly special international event in May 2026: the Zayed Charity Run, one of the UAE’s most prominent charitable running events, is coming to Europe for the very first time. Taking place on May 16–17, 2026, this two-day celebration of community, sport, and generosity is open to everyone — from young children taking their first race steps to seasoned runners chasing a personal best.
What Is the Zayed Charity Run?
With over 25 years of history, the Zayed Charity Run was inspired by the legacy of the UAE’s founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The event has grown into a global series, with previous editions held in Beijing, Rio de Janeiro, Abu Dhabi, Cairo, and Miami. Budapest proudly closes out the 2025–26 season as the final and only European stop on this world tour — a milestone moment for the city’s international sporting calendar.
Every forint collected through registration fees goes directly to Hungarian charitable organizations at county and municipal level, making your participation meaningful well beyond the finish line.
The Programme
The event spans two days, with a race category for every age and fitness level.
