LIFE IN SPACE Exhibition in Budapest 2026

Travel Beyond Earth – Explore the World of Space Discovery

This spring, Budapest invites you on a journey that’s truly out of this world. The internationally acclaimed LIFE IN SPACE Exhibition — visited by over 4 million people worldwide — has landed in the Hungarian capital. From March 6, 2026, for a limited three-month period, visitors can explore a fully immersive space adventure at Etele Plaza, featuring breathtaking technology, VR experiences, and real artefacts from space missions.

Step Into the Universe

Created in collaboration with NASAESA, the US Space & Rocket Center, and ASI, this spectacular exhibition showcases the human quest to conquer space. Over 1,000 square meters of interactive installations allow visitors to learn, experience, and feel what it’s like to live and work beyond Earth’s atmosphere. From walking through an International Space Station replica to exploring astronaut training modules, it’s an experience where science meets imagination.

Highlights of the Exhibition

  • Multi Axis Trainer – Take a spin in this dizzying astronaut simulator inspired by the Gemini VIII mission, where Neil Armstrong and Dave Scott faced real zero-control motion in space
  • VR Experiences – Journey through the ISS, pilot an F-18 jet, or take command of a space shuttle
  • Iconic Artifacts – See original Apollo mission suits, shuttle heat tiles, the legendary Snoopy Cap, and even touch a real lunar meteorite
  • Astronaut Food Corner – Discover how astronauts eat, drink, and dine 400 km above Earth
  • Full-Scale Reconstructions – Step inside an original capsule, visit a command center, or snap a selfie in a real space suit
