KockáZoo LEGO® Exhibition at Biodóm Budapest – A Must-Visit Family Experience

KockáZoo LEGO® Exhibition at Biodóm Budapest

If you’re visiting Budapest with kids — or simply young at heart — KockáZoo is one spring event you won’t want to miss. This interactive LEGO® exhibition takes place in the stunning atrium of the Biodóm at Budapest Zoo, running from March 28 to April 12, 2026, and it promises a hands-on, creative adventure for all ages.

What Is KockáZoo?

KockáZoo is not your typical exhibition. It’s an experience-based family program where play, creativity, and collaborative building take center stage. The concept is beautifully simple: generations come together, differences disappear, and everyone — from toddlers to grandparents — gets to build, explore, and discover using thousands of LEGO® bricks.

Whether you’re a seasoned LEGO® fan or have never snapped two bricks together in your life, this event welcomes everyone with open arms.

What to Expect Inside

Built Worlds

Step into a miniature universe where intricately crafted terrain tables bring city life and the beauty of nature side by side. What makes this extra special is that some of the kinetic, moving elements can actually be controlled by you — so you can literally bring a miniature world to life with your own hands.

Tower Building Challenge

Throughout the exhibition, visitors collectively build the tallest tower in the city. You’ll learn the basics of constructing stable structures and get to add your very own brick to a tower that grows taller with every visitor. It’s a surprisingly addictive team effort!

Creative Zone

This is where imaginations run wild. Thousands of bricks are available for free building, so everyone can become a master builder regardless of age or experience. The youngest visitors are especially well-catered for, with a dedicated DUPLO® petting corner and a coloring station to keep tiny hands busy and happy.

Playful Challenges

Pick up your “mission card” at the entrance and get ready for some fun. Hidden minifigures are scattered across the terrain tables — find them all and earn a reward from the animators on site. There’s also a token-based experience program featuring missions, stamp collecting, and exciting challenges for every visitor. Can you complete them all?

LEGO® Swap Market

A permanent fixture of the KockáZoo space is the LEGO® swap market, where you can browse and purchase individual parts, full sets, and minifigures. A dream stop for any collector or enthusiast.
