Daily Flights Between Beijing and Budapest to Launch from Spring 2026

Getting to Budapest from one of the world’s largest and most fascinating capitals will soon become easier than ever. Starting March 29, 2026, Air China will boost its service between Beijing and Budapest from four weekly flights to a daily schedule, connecting travelers more smoothly between East Asia and the heart of Central Europe.
A Major Step for Air Travel to Budapest
The expansion marks another significant milestone for Budapest’s growing international air network. From the end of March, the CA719 flight will take off from Beijing every day at 2:50 a.m. local time, touching down in Budapest at 7:00 a.m.—a perfect time to start a fresh day in the Hungarian capital. The return flight, CA720, will depart Ferenc Liszt International Airport at 1:00 p.m. and land back in Beijing at 4:10 a.m. the following morning.
With this new daily schedule, the connection between China and Hungary will be faster, more convenient, and perfectly timed for both business travelers and tourists eager to explore. The route will continue to be served by Air China’s state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners—renowned for their quiet, comfortable cabins and excellent fuel efficiency.

A Bridge Between East and West
For travelers, this move signals more than just improved flight frequency. It reflects the strengthening ties between Hungary and China, as well as the growing role of Budapest as one of Europe’s key air hubs. As one of the most scenic and visitor-friendly cities on the continent, Budapest is becoming an increasingly attractive stopover and destination for Asian tourists exploring Europe.
Likewise, the daily route opens exciting opportunities for Hungarian and European visitors headed to China. Whether bound for Beijing’s Great Wall and Forbidden City, the colorful streets of Chongqing, or the country’s rapidly growing business centers, the new schedule makes long-distance travel smoother and more flexible than before.
An Expanding Network of Comfort
Air China’s decision to increase frequency reflects steadily rising demand. Budapest has become an international favorite in recent years, thanks to its blend of historic beauty, affordable experiences, and lively cultural life. Now, with daily long-haul flights from one of Asia’s most dynamic cities, the capital strengthens its position as a major gateway connecting Europe and China.
For travelers planning their 2026 itineraries, this expanded route offers not only convenience but also more choices—and perhaps the perfect excuse to experience Budapest’s timeless architecture, relaxing thermal baths, and world-famous gastronomy firsthand.
