Party Tram Returns to Budapest This Weekend

Party Tram Returns to Budapest This Weekend

Budapest’s beloved Bulivillamos is rolling back onto the streets this weekend to celebrate the city’s birthday, and it’s bringing the beats with it. On November 15-16, 2025, the capital’s legendary moving party venue returns for two days of music, dancing, and unforgettable tram rides through the city.

The Weekend Lineup

Saturday, November 15 features LavaLava behind the decks—Budapest’s veteran party crew who’ve been keeping dance floors packed since 2008. They’re bringing their signature eclectic sound that’s kept them at the top of the city’s party scene for nearly two decades.

Sunday, November 16 switches things up with Chat Boutique, a collective known for blending House, Disco, and Funk into something seriously groovy. Joining them are Constant K and Perrin, promising uplifting melodies and bass lines that’ll shake those vintage tram floors.

Both days run from 4 PM to 9 PM, with departures from Deák Ferenc tér every hour starting at 4 PM. The party tram follows route 49 to Kelenföld Railway Station and back, giving you a full hour to dance through Budapest’s streets.

How to Join the Party

You’ll need to pre-register at bkk.hu/bulivillamos to snag a wristband—only 80 spots available per departure, so register early. Bring your QR code confirmation and a valid BKK ticket or pass to exchange for your wristband at the Deák tér stop before your selected time.

Boarding and exiting happens exclusively at Deák tér, and the tram empties after each loop so everyone gets a chance to experience Budapest’s coolest moving celebration.

This official city event is organized by Budapest’s municipal government, the Budapest Cultural Centre, BKV, and BKK—making it the perfect way to celebrate the capital’s birthday while exploring the city in the most unconventional way possible.
