Say Goodbye To The Summer With A Sandcastle Party!
Hey there, Budapest! As the summer winds down and the school year approaches, the Városháza pop-up park is throwing one last hurrah for the kids. On Saturday, August 31st, Budapest’s biggest sandbox will host a special sandcastle building competition for the little ones and their families.
Starting at 10 AM, world champion sand sculptor M. Tóth Zsolt and his team will be on hand to demonstrate how to build the perfect sandcastle. Then, at 3 PM, it’s time to put those newly acquired skills to the test as the bravest participants can enter a competition. The winning family will be treated to a meal at the Városháza pop-up bar, but every participating child can expect a little surprise.
Performer Bocskor Bíborka will also be in attendance to add to the festive atmosphere. So, before the school year begins and the daily grind sets in, make the most of these last summer days! Head over to the Városháza pop-up park’s massive sandbox on August 31st for an extra special end-of-summer program.
In the morning, kids and playful adults alike can learn the art of building bastions and moats from the best in the business. Then, in the afternoon, it’s time to show off those sandcastle-building skills and prove that you’re Budapest’s top castle sculptor! The winning family will be treated to a selection from the Pop-up Bar, but of course, every child will receive a little token.
So, mark your calendars and get ready to crown the end of summer by becoming the king or queen of sandcastle building!
