What is Skate Land Budapest?
Skate Land Budapest is a brand-new festival inspired by the legendary roller parties of London, Barcelona, and Berlin. For the first time, Budapest will host a vibrant rollerskating celebration, bringing together local and international skate lovers for workshops, parties, street skates, and more. Expect an open, welcoming vibe where you can learn new tricks from pro skaters, make new friends, dance to great music, and soak up the city’s summer energy.
Grand Outdoor Skate Party – June 7
Don’t miss the main event: the Grand Outdoor Skate Party on June 7 at MOMkult Sirály sétány. Picture this: a warm summer evening, the city skyline, and a rollerdisco under the stars! International skate stars will be there to inspire you, and special guest DJ onyx.tbh from London will spin the soundtrack for an epic night. No skates? No problem! You can rent skates (just email in advance to check size availability), or grab a companion ticket and join the dance floor in your shoes.

Opening Party – June 6
Kick off the festival at Turbina Kulturális Központ with a launch party and skate jam. Bring your own skates and groove to the beats of DJ Szolark and DJ Lillaszempilla. Enjoy the upstairs bistro for bites between sessions. This event is for ages 16 and up.

Free and Paid Workshops
Throughout the weekend, Skate Land Budapest offers a variety of workshops for all levels. Learn footwork, spins, flow, control, choreography, and urban skating from top international instructors. Some workshops are free, but spots fill up fast-so check the schedule and register early!

Join the community for a citywide street skate on June 7 (meeting at Hősök tere) and a Sunday evening skate jam and picnic at Városliget. These sessions are open to all wheels and are a fantastic way to see Budapest from a new perspective.
