Piano Day 2025 at MOMkult Budapest

A Global Celebration of the Piano Comes to Budapest
On March 29, 2025, Budapest will join cities across the world in celebrating Piano Day, a unique event dedicated to honoring the beauty and versatility of the piano. Hosted at the Kupola Hall of MOMkult, this year’s event promises an unforgettable evening of music featuring talented pianists and composers from Hungary and beyond. With its intimate setting and exceptional acoustics, MOMkult provides the perfect venue for this global celebration of one of history’s most iconic instruments.
Piano Day was first initiated in 2015 by Nils Frahm, one of the most influential modern classical artists, with the idea of dedicating the 88th day of each year (representing the 88 keys on a piano) to this remarkable instrument. Since then, it has grown into an international phenomenon celebrated in cities worldwide. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Piano Day globally and the 7th time it will be celebrated in Hungary.
