Pavilon Bar Closing Party 2026: Three Final Nights by the Danube in Budapest

Pavilon Bar

Budapest’s Pavilon Bar is preparing to say goodbye, and it’s making the farewell a three-day affair. From October 15 to 17, 2026, the bar will bring together the DJs who helped shape its story for one last gathering of music, drinks and familiar faces. This isn’t simply another end-of-season party: the organisers describe it as the final chapter of Pavilon Bar’s 2019–2026 run.

For visitors, it’s a chance to experience Budapest’s local electronic music community at a particularly meaningful moment. Come for an afternoon set, settle into the evening and join the regulars as they give a much-loved meeting place its final send-off.

A Farewell Party on Budapest’s Riverside

Pavilon Bar’s setting at Nehru Riverside Park makes this a different kind of farewell from a conventional nightclub closing party. With the music starting in the afternoon, you can arrive while it’s still light and let the evening unfold beside the Danube.

For navigation, search for “Pavilon Bar” or use the park’s local name, “Nehru part.” Whether you stop by for an early set or stay until the last track, the three-day programme offers plenty of opportunities to join the celebration.

More Than a Bar Since 2019

The organisers’ farewell looks back to a message they wrote for their second season-closing event in 2020. Even then, Pavilon had become a place where lifelong friendships and professional collaborations began, and where dropping in meant running into a handful of friends.

It also became the sort of place where “just one beer” rarely stayed that way. In their recollection, a quick look at the terrace could turn into a much longer visit, while DJs kept putting their drinks on the booth no matter how many times they were asked not to.

Six years later, the organisers say that sense of connection has only deepened. The final programme reflects it: they have invited the DJs who contributed most to Pavilon’s journey, turning the closing party into a thank-you to the people behind its community.

Thursday’s Opening Night: October 15

The farewell begins at 4 PM with Jakob, followed by Adamsandor at 5 PM and Earwax Brothers at 6 PM. Toro Lomo takes over for a two-hour set from 7 PM to 9 PM, giving Thursday’s evening programme its longest session.

Ben Dover follows at 9 PM, Rizkid at 10 PM and Blackman at 11 PM, taking the first night through to midnight. Arriving early gives you time to settle in before the evening sets, while the later slots make it easy to fit the party around a day of sightseeing.

Friday’s Lineup: October 16

Friday starts with DJ Clairvo at 4 PM, before Jolán steps up at 5 PM and DJ Boka at 6 PM. Mikesz plays at 7 PM, followed by D2 aka Dot 2.0 at 8 PM.

The evening continues with Oliver SCH at 9 PM and Alma at 10 PM, with Kiki Mantic taking the final hour from 11 PM until midnight. With a different DJ every hour, Friday offers plenty of reasons to stay beyond the set you originally came to hear.

Saturday’s Final Send-Off: October 17

Saturday brings Pavilon’s final scheduled day of music, beginning with Lutum at 4 PM and Paebo at 5 PM. Donald Sikur follows at 6 PM, Kornwall at 7 PM and Inka at 8 PM.

Swain takes over at 9 PM, followed by stee at 10 PM. Woody plays the closing set from 11 PM until midnight, bringing the three-day farewell—and this chapter of Pavilon Bar—to an end.

Remembering Khristian K

Alongside the music, the organisers’ announcement pays tribute to their friend Khristian K. When Pavilon opened in 2019, he supported the project with ideas and advice, helping shape the style and outlook that defined the bar after its first season.

The organisers explain that he did not live to see how far the project would grow, but remained with them in spirit. Their farewell thanks him as an important part of Pavilon’s story, ending with the words: “To infinity and beyond!”

Joining the Farewell During Your Budapest Visit

If you’re visiting Budapest between October 15 and 17, this closing party offers something more personal than a standard night out. It’s an opportunity to hear local DJs in a place built around music and community, while joining the people who made it special.

The programme starts at 4 PM each day, so you don’t need to wait until late evening to take part. Check the organisers’ latest updates for admission arrangements and any programme changes before heading over, and bring an extra layer if you plan to spend time by the river after dark.
